Creator and co-lead principal investigator for the International Development Innovator Network (IDIN), an international consortium of universities funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) focused on using engineering and entrepreneurship to create wealth and improve quality of life in resource-constrained regions. We designed the program and procured $20 million dollars (including cost-sharing) for the first five years of the network, 2012–2017.
